Gender-equal Northerners
2012 was the year when the gender-neutral pronoun “hen” was introduced into the Swedish language. No, I am not talking about the female in a domestic fowl. “Hen’s” purpose is to erase the borders between him and her, woman and man, gender quotas, gender discrimination, as well as slowly moving away from the norm.
